Senior Staff Engineer, Analog IC Design

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our Optical PHY team in designing high-speed and optical transceivers for communication infrastructure in long-haul, metro, and datacenter applications.


About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex analog IC design projects from concept to manufacturing. This includes developing and implementing innovative design solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all designs meet or exceed performance specifications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-speed analog circuits and systems for optical transceivers.
  • Collaborate with the Optical PHY team to ensure seamless integration of analog circuits with digital logic.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to verify circuit performance and functionality.
  • Work closely with manufacturing to ensure smooth transition of designs to production.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in analog IC design, with a focus on high-speed circuits and systems.
  • Proven expertise in circuit simulation, analysis, and verification using tools such as SPICE and Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex design issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
