Are you passionate about creating meaningful social change in Asia? Do you have a strong background in business development and community building? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Manager, where you will play a key role in driving our efforts to support philanthropists and the wider ecosystem.

About The Role

As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of a portfolio of work that includes community and relationship building, conducting research that leads to action, conceptualizing and driving collaborative impact, and establishing productive working relationships and impactful collaborations between stakeholders. You will work closely with our Director of New Markets & Services to drive programming, community engagement, and ecosystem-building efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Evolve and execute on the strategic direction of Mandarin Collective, building on its foundation over the last 2 years.
  • Design bespoke learning journeys and visits to innovative and leading organizations according to members' interests, including but not limited to China.
  • Organize regular events, workshops, panels, and dialogues to engage with the philanthropic community, thought leaders, government officials, and/or think-tanks on strategic philanthropy.
  • Build a strong community by deepening relationships with members of APC, The Mandarin Collective, and their next-generation family members to understand their interests and facilitate meaningful interactions.
Requirements
  • Around 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in an advisory or business development capacity.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin and bilingual in English. Preference will be given to native Mandarin speakers and those fluent in other Asian languages.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to adapt a variety of writing and communication styles to frame ideas and concepts effectively for different target audiences.
