Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering procurement related activities of multiple Capital projects in the Asia Pacific Region as a Procurement Manager. The ideal candidate will have adequate knowledge and information about the business and the project in order to make informed value decisions for both the Client and the Company.

Responsibilities:
  • The Procurement Manager, operating within Client Project Management Office (PMO) team, will establish procurement strategies for definition of purchasing and construction packages for the project including identification of critical materials.
  • Prepare the procurement plan and assist in the scheduling of the equipment contract packages.
  • Participate in the preparation of the detailed estimate and the control budget.
  • Supervise the preparation of commercial terms and conditions for contracts and purchase orders.
  • Carry out necessary surveys to determine which materials/equipment may be available locally and those to be purchased direct from international suppliers.
  • Ensure that the project objectives of quality, cost and schedule are being met.
  • Ensure that the lawful obligations of the Company and Client are passed on to the suppliers and contractors.
  • Establish the levels of quality, the methods and procedures to control and report Quality Assurance requirements during the procurement cycle.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or M&E Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum 5 years' experience as consultant or client representative.
  • Experience in procurement management services for both pre-contract and post contract stages.
  • Experience in Data Center, Life Cycle Replacement and Office fit-out projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
