Singapore NTU (Nanyang Technology University- MainOffice-HR) Full time

We are seeking a Chief Procurement Strategist to join our team at NTU (Nanyang Technology University - Main Office - HR). As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic procurement vision and driving business growth through effective procurement practices.

The successful candidate will have a minimum Diploma Equivalent Qualification or equivalent professional procurement experience with 3 years' working experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the business and stakeholders to manage and administer all procurement activities
  • Responsible for quotation and tendering process which includes preparing specifications, calling, evaluation, and award of quotations/tenders
  • Negotiating and coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional departments for best possible price purchase and delivery time with the quality required for the project
  • Cross-department collaboration to ensure procurement processes are done in adherence to NTU guidelines and policies
  • All tactical purchases and procurement administrative support includes but not limited to PO processing and contract management
  • Generating and analyzing purchasing reporting to identify improvement
  • Any ad-hoc jobs required by management
