Principal Electronics Hardware Developer

You will be responsible for designing and developing electronic circuit boards for our drone systems as part of a collaborative team providing safe, reliable solutions to esteemed clients in Singapore and the region.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research on efficient architectures for electronic circuit board requirements.
- Source suitable electronic components to implement the design architecture.
- Designing schematics of electronic circuit boards based on datasheets of electronic components.
- Creating PCB layouts of electronic circuit boards and generating Gerber files for PCB fabrication.
- Programming firmware in embedded C/C++ language.
- Thoroughly testing PCB assemblies to ensure they operate as expected.
- Preparing documents and drawings of design and test.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of industry experience in electronic hardware and firmware design.
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design.
- Knowledge in various communication buses and protocols.
- Proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer and OrCAD Capture and PCB Designer.
- Proficiency in using instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot issues on electronic circuit boards.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills.
