Technical Solutions Expert

As a technical solutions expert, you will be responsible for providing expertise to our sales team, understanding customer needs, and transforming these needs into optimal KONE solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales teams to find optimal technical solutions for non-standard and modernisation cases
  • Ensure clarity on solution scope, including KONE and possible third-party offerings
  • Participate in customer meetings and answer technical questions as needed
  • Select the correct product platform for offering
  • Propose solutions from all KONE business lines
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Holistic understanding of different building types and customer segments
  • Good solution and value-selling skills
  • Excellent skills in understanding and translating customer needs into KONE technical specifications
  • Understanding of new construction and building modernisation processes in the industry and at KONE
  • Excellent technical knowledge of KONE current and future solutions
  • Good knowledge of KONE solution-related codes and standards
  • Good knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements and norms
  • Good engineering tool skills, e.g., CAD and BIM skills
  • Basic knowledge of competitors' technical solutions
  • VB Specific knowledge: Conducting site surveys, existing building modernisation/installation methods
  • Good understanding of all required elements for solution total costing
  • Understanding of KONE quality management procedures
  • Good virtual collaboration skills
