Job Title:
Nursing Care Assistant
Job Description
  • Perform routine tasks under the supervision of registered nurses.
  • Provide basic nursing care and treatment under supervision.
  • Observe residents and report abnormalities to Staff Nurse.
  • Ensure personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Accompany residents to appointments and recreational outings.
  • Conduct daily activities with residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
  • Assist in conducting daily routines, including vital signs and wound care.
  • Support residents with personal care needs, such as bathing and dressing.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum NITEC in Nursing/NITEC in Community Care & Social Services.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Nursing Home or Hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
