Electrical Power Project Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Power Project Specialist to oversee the successful execution of electrical power-related projects.

This encompasses designing, coordinating, and executing projects involving AC/DC variable speed drives, transformers, cables, generators, switchgear, etc. Key tasks include project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

You will be responsible for interacting with customers and vendors on all technical and commercial aspects of the project, as well as collaborating with field staff on installation, testing, and commissioning.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • A Class 3 driving license is mandatory

About This Role

The Electrical Power Project Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the execution of electrical power-related projects from start to finish. This includes designing, coordinating, and executing projects that involve complex electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: You will be responsible for managing electrical power-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Engineering: You will design, coordinate, and execute projects that involve complex electrical systems, including AC/DC variable speed drives, transformers, cables, generators, and switchgear.

Procurement: You will source materials and services required for project execution, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Construction and Commissioning: You will oversee the construction and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring they meet the required safety and performance standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering

• A Class 3 driving license
