We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team in the field of Statistical Physics and Random Graph Models. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Somabha Mukherjee on a project aimed at Inferring Complex Structural and Functional Connectivity in Causal and Graphical Models, with Applications in Genomics and Neurobiology.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

Theoretical Research:
Proving theoretical results related to rates of convergence of magnetization and estimators in statistical physics and random graph models.

Qualifications:
  • A PhD in Statistics and Data Science or Probability Theory is required.

Skills:
  • Strong skills in proving theoretical results and reasonable coding abilities are necessary.

Experience:
  • At least one year of postdoctoral research experience in theoretical research and a few publications in peer-reviewed journals are expected.
