International Logistics Manager Job Description

As a key member of our international logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the movement of shipments across borders in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate global courier operations to ensure efficient, timely, and secure international deliveries.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping partners, and customs agencies to facilitate smooth cross-border logistics.
  • Ensure full compliance with Singapore Customs procedures and international import/export regulations.
  • Manage lost and found cases at Changi Airport, coordinating with airport authorities and customers for swift resolution.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes and schedules for both domestic and international shipments.
  • Support ground operations, including warehouse handling, parcel sorting, and fleet management.
  • Operate company vehicles when required (must hold a valid Class 3 driving license).
  • Provide training and mentorship on global shipping standards, customs clearance, and best practices.
  • Respond to operational escalations, including shipment delays, customs issues, and customer service complaints.
  • Maintain detailed records of shipments, customs documents, and incident reports.
  • Uphold adherence to company SOPs, international trade laws, and occupational safety standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in international logistics and transportation management.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid Class 3 driving license and ability to operate company vehicles.
