We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Researcher to join our team at LKCMedicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and calibrating a multiscale computational framework to bridge the gap between within-host viral dynamics and COVID-19 epidemiology.
The project aims to evaluate the impact of antiviral treatments on epidemiological dynamics through a multiscale model for SARS-CoV-2. Your expertise in statistical analysis and mathematical modeling will be essential in identifying key factors that influence the spread of the virus.
Main Objectives:
  • To develop a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between within-host viral dynamics and COVID-19 epidemiology.
  • To evaluate the impact of antiviral treatments on epidemiological dynamics through a multiscale model for SARS-CoV-2.
  • To identify key factors that influence the spread of the virus.
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in a Quantitative Field such as Data Science, Computational Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
  • Research Experience in Public Health and Medicine is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in R programming is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and Teamwork Attitude.
