Job Title:
Assistant Manager - Business Development and Stakeholder Engagement.

Description:
This role is responsible for driving business development, stakeholder management, and event organization to enhance the institution's outreach efforts and fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing academic programs, with experience in working with adult learners and managing multiple tasks and deadlines. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage Business Development (Programme Development, Fund Raising): Work closely with the CET Director to design and implement new programs that align with the institution's strategic goals. Conduct market research to identify educational needs and trends, collaborate with faculty and industry experts to develop curriculum, and ensure that programs meet quality standards and accreditation requirements. Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure financial resources for program initiatives. Identify potential funding sources, cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors, prepare proposals, manage donor communications, and ensure transparency and compliance in fund utilization.
2. Work Closely with ERSL Director on Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with the ERSL Director to establish and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including students, faculty, industry partners, alumni, and government agencies. Engage stakeholders through regular communication and feedback mechanisms to ensure that program offerings meet their needs and expectations. Facilitate stakeholder involvement in program development and evaluation, leveraging their expertise and insights to enhance educational outcomes.
3. Organize Events for Outreach and Stakeholders: Plan, coordinate, and execute events aimed at promoting the institution's programs and engaging stakeholders. This includes conferences, seminars, workshops, and networking events that showcase program achievements and provide opportunities for stakeholder interaction. Manage logistics such as venue selection, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing efforts to ensure successful event execution. Work to maximize event impact by aligning themes and objectives with strategic goals, and by utilizing events as platforms for building relationships and boosting the institution's reputation and visibility.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree from a reputable institution. At least 5 years of relevant working experience in managing academic programs in tertiary institutions. Having experience in working with and managing adult learners will be a big plus.
2. High level of written and oral communication skills. Experienced, confident and effective working in cross-cultural settings. Meticulous with an eye for detail and a keen appreciation of good documentation. Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks and deadlines well, and with a high degree of accuracy. Team player with a good combination of high intelligence, emotional and cultural quotient. IT savvy, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
