Job Opportunity


We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Technician to join our team in Jurong Island. This 12-hour shift role offers a transport service for the selected candidate.


  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning strainers, replacing filters and screens, and topping up coolant and lubricants.
    • Conduct checks, start-ups, and shutdowns of process equipment such as pumps and compressors according to Standard Operating Procedures or Work Instructions.
    • Isolate piping systems for plant start-ups, shutdowns, product grade changes, and troubleshooting operations.
    • Adjust process parameters to optimize process operations under supervision.
    • Collect process samples from assigned sampling points in a safe manner.
    • Work in a laboratory environment performing in-process sample testing to ensure product quality.
    • Commission and decommission process equipment.
    • Perform emergency shutdowns of process equipment.
    • Properly handle and blend non-conforming and off-spec products.
    • Prepare plant equipment for maintenance and ensure all required lockout, tagout, and tryout procedures have been performed.
    • Mix and dilute chemicals for process operations.
    • Perform inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures.
    • Participate in emergency response activities and drills.
    • Maintain acceptable housekeeping in assigned areas.
    • Review final product and process analytical results, and DCS conditions/trends.
    • Understand and comply with departmental Safety and Environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
