Leads in securities settlement operations play a crucial role in driving the success of financial institutions. They are responsible for overseeing the entire process, from front-to-back operations to ensuring that all transactions are executed smoothly and efficiently.

As a chief securities operations lead, you will be expected to evaluate and enhance control processes, identifying areas of improvement and implementing solutions. This may involve leading ongoing reviews of business processes, developing optimization strategies for target operating models, BRDs, user stories, and test cases.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong knowledge of securities settlement processes across multiple products and markets. Experience working across multiple disciplines within finance or related industries is also beneficial. Additionally, you should have delivered process improvements and controls enhancements, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, including leading wider teams to prove the effectiveness of processes or controls. They should also be able to work independently, multi-task, and have great attention to detail, taking ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.

Job Requirements
  • Evaluate and enhance control processes for front-to-back operations
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes

  • Stay up-to-date on process and operational advancements
  • Communicate with stakeholders, conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
