Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

An inventory management specialist will be responsible for optimising stock and purchase order data to achieve the best allocation possible.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage and analyse stock and purchase order related data.
  • Generate and analyse reports to support demand, forecasting, and supply chain information, making informed recommendations accordingly.
  • Understand and apply concepts such as safety stocks and working capital in stock planning to maintain a balanced inventory.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers, vendors, and warehouses to ensure efficient operations.
  • Work closely with operational teams and warehouse staff to meet daily objectives.
  • Ensure all work is carried out according to established health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop an efficient demand and supply process.
  • Manage stock orders and allocations, maintaining optimal stock levels across stores.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial vehicle spare parts management or inventory control within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale inventory systems.
