Inventory Management Specialist

The role of Inventory Management Specialist revolves around implementing and optimizing inventory control procedures within the organization.
This position entails ensuring that inventory levels are accurately managed, which in turn enables the company to meet its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing daily cycle counts and stock-take activities, as well as creating write-off procedures and inventory control strategies to optimize warehouse operations.
In addition, the Inventory Management Specialist will be expected to manage the shelf life of products in the warehouse, prevent expired items from being disturbed, and serve as the primary point of contact for all inventory-related issues and escalations.
This role also involves providing support for new site-specific projects assigned by management, assisting in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that conform to ISO and AS9120 quality standards, and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Furthermore, the Inventory Management Specialist will be required to actively participate in work improvement initiatives, such as 5S, Kaizens, LEAN, and SCA, to achieve Operational Excellence standards.
Additionally, this role entails ensuring the execution and maintenance of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum GCE 'O' levels qualification.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel spreadsheet usage.
- Good experience in using SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
