Temasek International Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Strategic Partnership Manager, Singapore Market. The successful candidate will be responsible for forging strategic partnerships with government and other relevant stakeholders in Singapore, to support the development of a resilient and vibrant Temasek ecosystem in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and map key policy stakeholders (including political office holders, government officials/regulators, and trade unions) relevant to Temasek's projects, particularly in the energy transition, sustainability, resilience and digital space
* Develop and lead engagement strategies to reach out and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen Temasek's network of partners
* Track, monitor, and provide an assessment of strategic policy issues that are relevant to Temasek's ecosystem
* Develop and lead workstreams for cross-cutting projects/issues involving multiple teams across the organisation
* Drive internal/external meetings platforms
* Lead in the planning, organisation, and management of engagement and networking platforms

Requirements:

* Degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Law, Business Management, Economics or a related field
* 8 - 10 years of relevant experience working in government relations or public policy, with good knowledge of protocol management
* Strong policy network in Singapore, with a demonstrated ability to effectively and comfortably interact at senior corporate/political levels
* Track record of effectively solving complex issues and delivering strong results
* Keen interest in translating policy/regulatory engagements into tangible commercial outcomes
* Exposure to strategy work within a government agency or corporate would be advantageous
* Strong analytical, presentation (written and oral), and project management skills
* Ability to multi-task and have exception attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills

In this role, the candidate must be able to work effectively with various teams, including our Investment, Portfolio Development and Emerging Technologies Groups to represent the company's positions on a multitude of policy issues.

The successful candidate should possess a deep interest and ability to understand how politics, business, finance, sustainability, technology and innovation, workforce, as well as international relations, are interconnected. These are pertinent issues that have an impact on our projects and initiatives.
