Job Title

Director of Engineering and Operations

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee a team of engineers to ensure safe structural design and delivery of service to clients.
    • Manage the profitability and efficiency of engineering operations.
    • Coordinate projects and lead meetings.
    • Supervise and inspect construction works.
    • Lead technical and site staff in project management and administration.
    • Provide guidance to engineers in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
    • Verify critical design calculations and specifications before approving documents and drawings for submission to regulatory authorities.
    • Carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works.
    • Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and contractors for projects.
  • Requirements:
    • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
    • Local design experience in C&S engineering work and familiarity with Singapore Building Codes and Practices.
    • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g. Tedds, StaadPro, Prota, Etab) and submission procedures to regulatory authorities.
    • Strong report writing skills to prepare and furnish reports.
    • Registration with Singapore PE Board as Professional Engineer.
    • Willingness to sign as signing QP.
