We are looking for a Site Engineer to lead our site operations team at GENERAL RAIL TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED. In this role, you will oversee daily site activities related to PSD installation works, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
You will coordinate with sub-contractors, clients, and various stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations. This includes monitoring project schedules, work progress, manpower deployment, and materials delivery. Additionally, you will conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site activities related to PSD installation works.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors, clients, and various stakeholders for site matters and technical clarifications.
- Monitor project schedules, work progress, manpower deployment, and materials delivery.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and resolve site issues promptly.
- Prepare site documentation including reports, method statements, and progress updates.
- Assist in testing & commissioning, quality control, and handover procedures.
Desirable Qualities:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
- Relevant site experience in rail transit or construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction site requirements and procedures.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings, technical specifications, and project coordination.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work on-site and perform nightwork when required.
