Information and Communications Technology Specialist

As an ICT specialist at NorthLight School, you will work closely with fellow educators to design and deliver engaging ICT lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with the IT support team to ensure seamless integration of technology into the academic and non-academic areas of our school.

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop innovative ICT lessons that promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Design and implement effective support structures, strategies, and learning resources to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Provide technical assistance within the Computer Labs and offer tailored instruction to individuals and small groups based on their learning needs.
  • Develop instructional materials and lesson packages that cater to varied teaching formats and styles.
  • Evaluate and refine teaching methods and support systems to continuously improve student learning outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum qualification of Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification from institutions such as National Institute of Education (NIE), International Baccalaureate, Cambridge International Education, or Institute of Technical Education (ITE).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, fundamental computing skills, video/audio editing tools, and basic programming.
  • Prior teaching experience, preferably in a specialized or technical education setting.
  • Demonstrated resilience and a strong passion for working with youth.
  • Effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
