About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking all types of pastry ingredients.

  • Accurate measurement and preparation of ingredients is essential in this role.
  • You will need to make dough, mousse cream, batter, tarts, pies, cookies, and cakes to a high standard.
  • A strong eye for detail is required when layering and decorating pastries and cakes.
  • You will work closely with the Patisserie Chef to follow recipes and presentation specifications.
  • Assisting with stock taking and storing ingredients and products neatly and cleanly is also a key part of this role.
  • You must adhere to Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) of the kitchen at all times.
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen is crucial.
  • This is a varied role that may involve additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • GCE O Level qualification or equivalent
  • 0 – 2 years related experience in a similar role
