Project Engineer - Tuas WRP

About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to serve as a project engineer for the implementation of Pumping Facilities Modules at Tuas WRP. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe completion of the project within the given timeframe and budget.

  • Manage contracts to guarantee compliance with specifications.
  • Review engineering calculations, tender specifications, and drawings submitted by consultants and contractors.
  • Verify construction drawings, including BIM, to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Execute contract management tasks such as verifying progress payments, monitoring budgets, and evaluating variations.
  • Assist in calling tenders and recommending suitable options.
  • Collaborate with consultants to oversee contractors during the successful construction and commissioning of the plant.
  • Conduct site coordination activities and assist in planning and coordinating multiple contracts.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related engineering disciplines.
  • Be committed to working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Have relevant experience and specialisation in wastewater process, treatment, or infrastructure.
