About the Role
As an Optometrist with JointHire Singapore Pte Ltd, you will perform comprehensive eye examinations using specialized equipment for accurate diagnosis and testing. You will engage in open communication with customers to gather detailed case histories and understand their needs. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of various contact lenses, providing recommendations based on individual requirements. Manage the dispensing and inventory of contact lenses, trials, and solutions with precision and efficiency. Maintain accurate records of patient eye health and purchases, ensuring seamless data management. Ensure the optimal condition of equipment and measuring devices, guaranteeing precise measurements and reliable results. Contribute to the smooth operation of daily shop activities, maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for customers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum Diploma in Optometry from an accredited institution. Full registration with the Singapore Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB) is also required. Ability to commit to flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building trust with patients and colleagues alike.
