Job Summary

CENTURY GLOBAL RESOURCES PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled QS Engineer to join our team. As a QS Engineer, you will be responsible for providing cost and financial advice, as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Formulate procurement strategies and prepare tender documentations.
  2. Administer the tender process, evaluate tenders, and submit tender recommendation reports.
  3. Review variation request orders, assess associated variation costs, and process progress payments and final accounts.
  4. Provide cost and financial advice to the project team and maintain contract documentation.
  5. Prepare and issue contractual letters to clients and/or sub-contractors.
  6. Liaise with clients and design teams post-contract.
  7. Carry out take-offs for material procurement and negotiate sub-contracts.
  8. Prepare and submit interim valuations and agree and certify sub-contractors' interim valuations and final accounts.
  9. Prepare and submit claims for payment and collect payments.
  10. Award contracts and prepare contract-related documents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent negotiation, construction, and tender process skills. You should also have experience with formulation, scripting, and administration, as well as proficiency in Linux and software development.
