About the Role
The Warehouse Operations Manager will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity, and safety within the warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating the daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively;
- Monitoring and controlling inventory levels to prevent stock discrepancies and overstocking;
- Implementing and maintaining effective warehouse processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency;
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration;
- Developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of warehouse staff;
- Maintaining accurate records and reports to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement;
Requirements
To be successful as a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced warehouse environment;
- Demonstrated expertise in warehouse management, including inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management;
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff;
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision;
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software applications;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve operational issues;
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm at our Toh Guan location. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to work well under pressure, and have a proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
