Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to AWS's commitment to sustainable practices. Working with our Data Centre infrastructure teams, you'll help ensure our procurement practices align with environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and supplier diversity while maintaining Amazon supply chain standards.


Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainability, analytical, and committed to driving positive environmental and social change through procurement practices. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Supporting supplier sustainability assessments focusing on sustainability metrics
  • Tracking and analysing supplier performance and reporting on environmental, social and economic initiatives in our supply chain
  • Assisting in program implementation
  • Supporting sustainable vendor selection and evaluation processes
  • Assisting in sustainable procurement strategy development

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills and Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainability and responsible business practices
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Environmental Science, Sustainable Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field)
