BIM Coordinator Role

As a BIM coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the management of building information models and shop drawings throughout various stages of construction. Your key objectives include:

  • Facilitating collaboration with consultants, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive models and shop drawings to support construction activities.
  • Closely coordinating structural works during the construction process.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve structure design discrepancies and construction-related issues.
  • Providing technical assistance in maintaining BIM systems and standards for construction projects.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • At least 3 years of coordination experience.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's Building and Construction regulations.
  • Good knowledge of Structural Specifications & Requirements.
  • Experience in producing shop drawings- Structure / Architecture.

You are also expected to have expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, as well as industry BIM Certification (Revit Professional, BCA BIM courses) and fluency with Bluebeam or other markup and design review tools.
