Job Title

Overview:

As a senior leader in facilities management, you will oversee the planning and execution of development projects for our venue. You will also manage a team of professionals to ensure ongoing operational readiness and the long-term sustainability of the property.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities development and management, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the hospitality, events, or commercial property sectors. They will have a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and certifications in Green Mark, Fire Safety, or Sustainability practices are a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning: Lead the planning and execution of all development, renovation, and expansion initiatives.
  2. Project Management: Manage the full project lifecycle—from concept and approvals to procurement, scheduling, and quality control.
  3. Preventive Maintenance: Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure optimal operational readiness of the facilities.
  4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  5. Innovation: Champion innovation in energy efficiency, smart building technologies, sustainability, and asset management.
  6. Communication: Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in facilities development and management.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Certifications in Green Mark, Fire Safety, or Sustainability practices are a strong advantage.
  4. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  5. Experience overseeing external facilities service providers.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  7. In-depth knowledge of building systems, sustainability frameworks, and project management methodologies.
