Join us for a challenging and rewarding role as a Senior Third-Party Risk Manager.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the Markets Operational Risk department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing inter-affiliate third-party risk management across Markets, ensuring adherence to our Third-Party Management Policy and Standards, supporting the effective implementation of the Manager Control Assessment, and driving continuous engagement with business and control partners.

About This Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement a target operating model to support inter-affiliate third-party risk management across Markets.
  • Perform thematic reviews of existing internal relationships and assist in key policy adherence and monitoring.
  • Keep Management aware of the risk and control environment through continuous and open communication, by preparing and hosting Business Risk Committee meetings with Senior Management to present and follow-up on issues, concerns, and corrective action plans.
  • Update and maintain a robust Manager's Control Assessment (MCA) in compliance with our Operational Risk Policy.
  • Monitor third-party management metrics, reporting, and dashboards for control completion or results outside of thresholds, including risk assessment and data discrepancies, past due activities, quality assurance outcomes, and onboarding aging.
  • Ensure that the Business has a sound control environment from an information security perspective, including adherence to relevant policies where appropriate.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for audit groups and ensure that all audit requests are timely and appropriately provided.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying ethical judgment, escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in Operational Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, or other control functions.
  • Familiarity with Third-Party Risk Management and Project Management.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
