We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analysis Specialist to join our team at Study Group, a leading international education provider.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering valuable management information and insights to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. This includes collaborating with stakeholders at various organizational levels to ensure their needs are met, as well as actively contributing to advancing Study Group's transition towards a more data-driven culture.

About the Role
  1. Undertake complex statistical analysis of various datasets while producing performance measures, modeling scenarios, and outcomes as necessary for multiple stakeholders across the organization.
  2. Derive insights and explain/interpret trends identified, including presenting findings to stakeholders, preparing reports, and producing suitable metrics that are appropriately benchmarked.
  3. Manage and design the reporting environment, working to identify areas for increased efficiency and automation of processes, and establish automated data processes in collaboration with the Data Architecture Team.
  4. Create data visualizations using PowerBI, Tableau, and other tools such as R, providing an accessible way to see and understand trends, outliers, and patterns in data.
  5. Manage complex data-related projects from inception to conclusion, including those involving data modeling and forecasting, and support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  6. Support ad-hoc requests for data and process confidential data according to guidelines, ensuring compliance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and understanding of data analysis tools and techniques, ensuring effective data utilization.
About You
  • Hold an undergraduate degree (2:1 or above) from a reputable university or equivalent experience.
  • Possess extensive experience in a Management Information/Analyst role using Cognos Business Analytics or PowerBI, Tableau, advanced Excel, and SQL.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of effective collaboration with stakeholders in specialist and technical roles, including IT infrastructure, data, and analytics specialists, as well as senior executives.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience with SQL server, Microsoft Azure Data Lake, or Oracle databases and data warehouses, as well as Alteryx, R, and/or Python.
Benefits and Compensation

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
