Job Overview">

As a Data Scientist in the Routing team, you will be involved in working to optimize the routing platform that powers Gojek services. Key areas include building data products, experimentation design/analysis, performing literature surveys, building/maintaining production-grade data pipelines and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to solve challenging geospatial problems.

Key Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Oversee experimentation design and analysis (AB testing, Switchback)">
  • Conduct deep dives into analysis to support engineering & business decisions">
  • Design and implement multi-modal capabilities on unstructured data using generative models, deep learning models or other complex solutions to strengthen in-house geospatial capabilities">
  • Own the entire MLops lifecycle for deployment and maintaining reliability of large-scale real-time ML models">
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Engineers and Product Managers to build, deploy and scale end-to-end data science solutions">
  • Work with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions">
Requirements">

Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field. Advanced academic qualifications are highly desirable.

5-7 years of experience in data science or a related field, preferably within the on-demand services or technology industry.

">

Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R or Scala, as well as proficiency with data manipulation and visualization libraries.

Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, with experience applying them to real-world problems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with solving problems using deep learning is a plus.

A passion for learning and innovation, with a desire to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving field of data science and technology.
