Senior/principal Geospatial Consultant

To masterplan Singapore's geospatial development, and formulate and implement geospatial policies and services
Develops and administers the policies and mechanisms under the GeospatialSG (NSDI) programme, with the objective to geo-enable Singapore:
i. Masterplan Singapore’s geospatial development, setting out its key agenda, strategies and activities
ii. Manage the Geospatial Trusted Centre to bring geospatial data, fusion and concierge services to the private, people and public sectors; including execution of projects to geo-reference, digitise/convert and fuse geospatial data
iii. Develop and implement GeospatialSG policies and standards that agencies should make reference to when dealing with geospatial data and information, acquisition, management, utilisation and disposal.
iv. Formulate and implement capability, adoption and manpower development programmes to build geospatial capacity
v. Contribute to the international and regional geospatial development agenda, in collaboration with international organisations & geospatial agencies
**Requirements**:
- 2 to 3 years of working experience with policy and Geospatial data. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Experience in Geographical Information System (GIS), Information Technology (IT), and/or Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) is preferred.
- Able to think strategically and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated team player, with strong interpersonal, negotiation and communications skills.
- Some experience in project management would be a bonus.
- Basic knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS or QGIS software required.
