The role of a Portfolio Credit Risk Analyst is to manage the credit exposure of our organization globally. This intermediate-level position requires conducting thorough credit reviews and approvals, as well as monitoring the portfolio to identify potential credit migration in collaboration with the Risk Management team.
The key objective of this position is to effectively manage our organization's risk while fostering growth opportunities.
- Resolve issues and provide recommendations for moderate problems.
- Integrate specialty area knowledge with an understanding of industry standards and practices to achieve collaborative goals.
- Serve as an industry expert and advisor, analyzing and approving counter-party credit limits for trading, transactional, and financing businesses.
- Develop risk management frameworks and processes for our organization.
- Advise businesses and clients on transaction structures and negotiate credit terms.
This role requires the ability to operate with limited direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy. As a subject matter expert, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and other team members.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, and valuation.
- Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Required education includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
We are seeking candidates who possess strong analytical thinking skills, constructive debate abilities, escalation management expertise, industry knowledge, policy and procedure awareness, process execution capabilities, product knowledge, risk controls and monitors, and risk identification and assessment skills.
