Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

The successful candidate will lead and manage all geotechnical aspects of construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage geotechnical aspects of construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct site investigations to evaluate conditions and provide design recommendations.
  • Prepare and review geotechnical reports, risk assessments, and engineering calculations.
  • Provide technical advice on ground improvement methods, foundations, shoring systems, piling, and earthworks.
  • Supervise junior engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Carry out site inspections and monitoring.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Manage risks and propose mitigation measures.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained.
  • Support tender preparation and provide input for proposals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of geotechnical experience, with at least 5 years in construction supervision of similar scale and complexity.
  • Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical design standards.
  • Proficient in geotechnical software.
  • Familiar with local codes, international standards, and regulatory processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer (PE) in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Experience in LTA/rail projects background.
