Job Title: Donor Relations Specialist

The National Kidney Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting kidney health and providing quality care to patients. Our mission is to prevent or delay kidney failure through health education, community integration, and strategic partnerships.

As a Donor Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the foundation's fundraising efforts by planning and implementing donor outreach, stewardship, and engagement programs. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with donors, managing fundraising initiatives, and developing strategies for donor retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify targeted donor prospects and maintain an awareness of the giving landscape.
  • Cultivate, engage, and nurture relationships with existing and potential donors to grow the foundation's donor base and financial support.
  • Develop and manage fundraising programs and events, including appeal letters, proposals, and other fundraising collateral.
  • Oversee donor recognition and stewardship programs to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in fundraising, business development, key accounts, or project management.
