Job Title: Tax & Accounting Associate

CA PRACTICE PAC is seeking a highly skilled Tax & Accounting Associate to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely filing of various tax returns, including corporate, individual, and GST.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of various tax returns, including corporate, individual, and GST.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Client Advisory: Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on tax planning and financial matters.
  • Research & Analysis: Stay updated on tax regulations and industry trends; conduct research for complex tax issues and provide comprehensive analyses.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with the audit team to facilitate smooth audit processes for clients.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed documentation of financial transactions and client interactions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Professional Qualification: Working towards being accredited as a Tax Advisor in Singapore.
  • Experience: No minimum number of years of experience in tax and accounting roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software, advanced Excel skills, and a strong understanding of Singapore tax laws.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to clients.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Initiative: Proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in staying updated on industry developments.
  • Ethical Standards: Adherence to high ethical standards and a commitment to client confidentiality.
