As a Freight Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of goods from various regions to our markets in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the supply chain team to maintain optimal ordering programs, consolidating and building freight shipments, and maintaining real-time shipment visibility through a comprehensive tracking sheet.

You will also act as a liaison between internal departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordinated logistics efforts. Your negotiation skills will come into play when discussing rates with freight forwarders to ensure market-competitive prices. Additionally, you will monitor industry trends to identify opportunities to further improve our freight forwarding strategy.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination, proven experience in negotiating freight rates, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and freight management software.
