Job Overview:

The Senior Project Manager in construction plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough constructability reviews of project documents to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
  2. Manage day-to-day work on projects, coordinating with contractors and agencies to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  3. Represent the company at partnering sessions, obtaining feedback on performance and effectiveness, and addressing contractor requests through formal or informal processes.
  4. Review and monitor project work to ensure progress meets expected guidelines and is completed on time.
  5. Review and provide recommendations on potential change orders, analyzing impacts on the project timeline.
  6. Regularly review project schedules and analyze construction progress to determine impacts on the schedule.

Requirements:

  1. 8+ years of experience in construction management or related experience in construction projects.
  2. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external resources.
  3. Self-directed with strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to focus on details as required.
  4. Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  5. Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office tools, and some knowledge of applicable project management software.
  6. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
