Job Description

As an International Class Teacher, you will be responsible for the educational and personal development of a class group in accordance with the school's policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students;
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students who require extra help;
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly;
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment;
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Pastoral Care and Well-being

You will also be responsible for promoting the social, emotional, and physical well-being of students, including their health, safety, and welfare. This includes:

  • Providing guidance and support to students on issues related to relationships, bullying, and other sensitive topics;
  • Working closely with colleagues and external agencies to ensure student wellbeing;
  • Implementing strategies to promote positive behaviors and prevent misbehavior.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as an International Class Teacher, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field;
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant professional teaching experience in early childhood education;
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
