Senior Civil Infrastructure Design Manager

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Infrastructure Design Manager to lead our design team in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to oversee complex design projects.


Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior Civil Infrastructure Design Manager who can:
  • Oversee the design of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, rail, viaducts, and other related structures;
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and engineering codes;
  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for feasibility, risk, and constructability;
  • Lead the development of construction methodologies, technical proposals, and method statements to enhance competitiveness;
  • Provide technical leadership in roadworks, drainage, earthworks, and related civil works;
  • Approve design deliverables, shop drawings, and technical submissions with focus on quality, constructability, and value engineering;
  • Coordinate with QS, planning, BIM, and procurement teams; engage suppliers/subcontractors for efficient solutions;
  • Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and risk assessments; implement mitigation measures as needed;
  • Represent the design team in client/consultant meetings and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, recognized by the relevant professional bodies;
  • Primavera P6 certification preferred;
  • 10-15 years' experience in civil infrastructure design, including tender and project management;
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore design codes, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
