About the Opportunity

You will lead the Singapore-based NPI Audio team to deliver strategic technology projects, enhancing Dyson's IP portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building a world-class team and supporting them in defining product visions and concepts.
  • Driving innovative problem-solving to secure IP for Dyson.
  • Leading complex projects within NPI to meet milestones.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring a team.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and communicating effectively.
  • Overseeing project plans, risks, and engineering problem resolution.
  • Collaborating across global teams to enhance engineering practices.
  • Working with partners across the business, in Engineering, the Audio Business Unit, and more.
  • Managing team budget and spend.
  • Rol-model presentation and communication best practice during project reviews.
  • Defining plans, monitoring progress, and reporting on technical risks.
  • Challenging and developing Dyson engineering practices to continuously improve design quality.
  • Taking an active role to ensure that all engineering problems are resolved thoroughly.

About You

We seek individuals with extensive experience in Audio product innovation, design, and development. You should have a proven track record of delivering complex product concepts and innovation. Leadership skills, including inspiring creativity and driving high-performing teams, are essential. Effective communication, influencing abilities, and senior stakeholder engagement capabilities are also required. Commercial savvy, focusing on maximising product value, is key.
