Job Overview

RANDSTAD PTE. LIMITED is seeking a highly experienced Chief Innovation Strategist to lead our R&D team. This role requires a strong track record in managing large technical teams, driving cross-functional collaboration, and developing innovative technologies.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with a Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in R&D leadership roles. The ideal candidate will have expertise in NLP, computer vision, LLM, deep learning, search engine technology, material science, bio-pharmaceuticals, patents, or related fields. Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, data science, and DevOps principles is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing R&D and AI strategies aligned with global objectives
• Collaborating on cutting-edge projects across material science, patents, data development, NLP, algorithms, and bio-pharmaceuticals
• Foster strong collaboration across product management, DevOps, testing, and other departments
• Oversee the development of innovative technologies in several areas
• Partner closely with local institutions to enhance R&D capabilities

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

• A Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Min 10 years in R&D leadership roles, with a proven ability to scale teams and drive cross-functional collaboration
• Expertise in NLP, computer vision, LLM, deep learning, search engine technology, material science, bio-pharmaceuticals, patents, or related fields
• Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, data science, and DevOps principles
• Chinese speaking required as you need to liaise with Chinese stakeholders who can only speak and write in Chinese

What We Offer
