Fire Protection Specialist

At our organization, we are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fire safety management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve design and site issues.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
  • Provide technical support during project execution and ensure timely delivery of fire-related works.
  • Prepare reports, method statements and documentation for submission.
  • Support safety compliance and risk assessments related to fire protection systems.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fire services works.
  • Familiar with local regulations, SCDF Codes of Practice and FSSD submission procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure to ensure good site progress.
  • Good safety knowledge and attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to liaise with the authorities.
