We design and execute a national level end-to-end supply chain blueprint in partnership with 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs) in Singapore. Role Summary

The incumbent will be based in one of the Public Health Institutions and work closely with clinical pharmacists &/or physicians on alternate sources & drugs when usual sources have supply issues. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and relevant experience in Procurement and inventory management of drugs and pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage expectations and work closely with stakeholders to ensure proper and comprehensive evaluation of all drugs.
  • Represent the institution as an evaluation committee member in the evaluation of drugs and pharmaceutical products.
  • To keep optimal inventory levels to achieve optimal stock availability vs overstocking and avoid wastages.
  • Work closely with the pharmacy inventory team on inventory management of all pharmacy sections, support stock take activities, and reporting.
  • Participate in key activities and related operational workgroups, quality improvement/productivity projects, management of critical supplies & stocks, attend management meetings at the supporting site.
  • Timely sourcing and processing of purchase requests from users.
  • Verify and submit requirements of national contracts taking into considerations past usage and future trends of disease treatment protocols that aligns with MOH directives and international guidelines.
  • Achieve cost-savings from purchases through Group/cluster contracts and institution quotations/negotiations.
  • Manage controlled drugs, distribute effectively, and in accordance to requirements of Misuse of Drug Acts.
Requirements
  • Degree in Pharmacy with minimum 5 years' of relevant professional practice experience.
  • A registered pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in engaging stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and knowledge in SAP-MM.
  • Relevant experience in Procurement and inventory management of drugs and pharmaceutical products.
Estimated Salary: SGD 120,000 - SGD 180,000 per annumBenefits
