The incumbent will be based in one of the Public Health Institutions . Key Responsibilities Manage expectations and work closely with clinical pharmacists &/or physicians on alternate sources & drugs when usual sources have supply issues. Ensure proper and comprehensive evaluation of all drugs and gather inputs from key stakeholders (physicians, nurses and/or clinical pharmacists). Represents institution as evaluation committee member in evaluation of drugs and pharmaceutical products. To keep optimal inventory to achieve optimal stock availability vs overstocking and avoid wastages. Work closely with pharmacy inventory team on inventory management of all pharmacy sections, support stock take activities and reporting. Participate in key activities and related operational workgroups, quality improvement/productivity projects, management of critical supplies & stocks, attend management meetings at the supporting site. Timely sourcing and processing of purchase requests from users – Purchase requests must be fulfilled on time in order not to affect patient's treatment plan. Verify and submit requirements of national contracts taking into considerations past usage and future trends of disease treatment protocols that aligns with MOH directives and international guidelines. Achieve cost-savings from purchases (Group/cluster contracts and institution quotations/negotiations) Manage controlled drugs, distribute effectively and in accordance to requirements of Misuse of Drug Acts. Ensure continuity of critical supplies or alternate products during exceptional periods. Minimize total value of goods written-off (Pharmacy Store and all pharmacy sections/substores). Material /item code creation and updates. Timely and accurate maintenance of PHI pharmacy systems (SAP & dispensing systems) on cost price, selling price, drug class and drug subsidy status/type. Handle audit queries in all related areas, stakeholder management at supporting site, and lead and motivate the team at site. Requirements Degree in Pharmacy with minimum 5 years' of relevant professional practice experience A registered pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council Strong interpersonal skills and experience in engaging stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and knowledge in SAP-MM Relevant experience in Procurement and inventory management of drugs and pharmaceutical products.
