
Childhood Advocate Manager

Job Description:
The KidSTART program offers upstream support to children from low-income families in the areas of early childhood development, health, and social support. As a leader in this initiative, you will be actively involved in supervising and training a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality services. You will also engage with children and their families, working closely with community partners and government agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of practitioners to build competencies and ensure program fidelity and quality of implementation.
- Able to lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver the KidSTART curriculum and achieve satisfactory outcomes for families and children.
- Possess a clear vision and skills to establish and maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Identify training needs, conduct, and coordinate regular individual and group supervision sessions, training, and consultation for practitioners.
- Engage and network with stakeholders and partners to tap on resources and expertise, plug service gaps, and advocate for additional resources and support based on empirical evidence and data.
- Ensure program output and outcome indicators are met through regular audits of the quality and fidelity of home visitations.
- Monitor service delivery by ensuring the team's consistency in keeping up to date with administrative processes and provision of data.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to develop processes to ensure seamless support is provided to families.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
At least a degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, Social Sciences, or Early Childhood Development, with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in the early childhood development or social service sectors. Possess strong leadership and supervisory skills, motivated in promoting professional development, and passionate about working with low-income families and children. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
