Product Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous Product Acquisition Specialist to curate and price product assortment across our retail network.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for various product categories.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to optimize cost and value.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and sales data to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels to meet store demands while minimizing overstock and wastage.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships by monitoring and evaluating performance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with business goals.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and product data for reporting and analysis.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and adjust purchasing strategy accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in retail or wholesale trade.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
