Chief Data Protection Officer

We are seeking an experienced Manager to drive continuous data protection improvements and promote a positive data culture.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead ad-hoc projects, conduct reviews to ensure privacy and data protection compliance, and investigate data incidents.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing global policies and developing local guidance in data protection and privacy.
- Conducting reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investigating data incidents and providing relevant advice and remedial actions.
- Reviewing data protection controls in technology risk assessments.
- Supporting legal and risk management processes around privacy and data protection issues.
- Developing training material and delivering training on data protection and privacy.
- Assisting with periodic internal and external reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- At least 5+ years of experience in a risk-related role, with a strong focus on data privacy and protection.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong project management skills and ability to guide junior team members.
- High level of resilience and positive work attitude, with willingness to learn and deliver timely results.
