About the Position:

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison to establish and maintain robust relationships with neuroscience-related specialties, key medical groups, associations, and patient advocacy organizations.

  • Independently develop and execute a cohesive scientific communication and community-building strategy through multi-modal clinical education channels.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge as a therapeutic and disease expert within the dynamic scientific and clinical environment of interest.
  • Engage in high-level scientific discussions with external partners to ensure regular medical and scientific contact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an educational resource for healthcare providers by delivering relevant scientific data through clear and personalized engagement.
  • Gather feedback, data, or information during routine activities that can help better comprehend medical or scientific needs, priorities, or concerns of healthcare practitioners and/or patients.
  • Collaborate and assist Clinical and Regulatory Affairs in reviewing study sites, identifying potential investigators, and addressing questions from investigators.
  • Support external academic partners in development of site-initiated clinical research proposals and engage in scientific congresses and other medical meetings.

Requirements:

  • MD, PhD, or equivalent with specialization in movement disorders, neurosciences, or a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability and comfort interacting with scientific leaders, including physicians, scientists, and other leaders at academic institutions.
  • Proven ability to review, interpret, and present scientific information and demonstrated critical thinking skills.

Necessary Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
