Nurse Leadership Position

This leadership role is ideal for an experienced professional seeking to shape community nursing practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness, safety and efficiency of our clinical services and contribute to strategic planning.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing evidence-based practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams and conducting market research to stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies.
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and policies in collaboration with the team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for growth and opportunities for clinical programs and services.
- Network and conduct market research to stay informed about new developments and best practices in gerontological nursing.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the health profile and population needs of older people in the community.
- Apply evidence-based practices to effectively manage clients with complex care needs through direct care.
- Provide clinical supervision, coaching and mentoring to a team of community nurses.
- Conduct audits and evaluations to assess compliance and identify gaps in clinical care and service delivery.
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a post-graduate diploma in Gerontological Nursing.
- Additional qualifications in public health, public policy or business management are advantageous.
- At least 12 years of nursing experience, with 5-8 years in clinical supervision, training and education.
- Extensive knowledge and skill in community-based care settings.
- Prior experience in management roles and case management or care coordination will be advantageous.
